- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restock merchandise as needed, and ensure shelves are well-stocked for quick customer access.
- Promote store promotions through upselling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance the shopping experience.
- Follow proper phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via other communication channels.
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring products are properly priced and labeled.
Experience
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math skills are highly advantageous.
