Eastern Iowa A.I. is a family owned and operated commercial boar semen collection facility. We use the latest methods of ensuring a disease-free product and the recommended technologies to ensure we deliver the highest quality semen to our customers.
We are currently seeking a full-time and part-time motivated, reliable and hardworking individuals for our livestock barns.
Full-time: 40-50 hours/week
Part-time: 20-24 hours/week
Requirements:
-Efficient
-Dependable
-Strong work ethic
-Willing to work in a high-speed environment
-Adhere to biosecurity standards and protocols
-Ability to work and communicate with a team of 10-12 individuals
Duties:
-Follow all biosecurity and farm safety requirements
-Animal care and handling
-Barn maintenance
-Power washing
-Boar training and semen collection
-Carry out other duties as assigned
-Cross training in our laboratory
Experience:
Passion for the livestock industry is a plus, however no experience is necessary and we will train the right person for the job.
