  • Department of Communication Disorders & Sciences** **Assistant Professor** **Position Announcement** The Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences at Eastern Illinois University is accepting applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The desired start date is August 16, 2026. The department seeks candidates who are committed to student learning, and the academic and clinical instruction of undergraduate and masters students in Speech Language Pathology. ## Required Qualifications: Doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field. **Compensation:** Salary Range is \$74,700 to \$78,300 commensurate with qualifications and experience. **Start Date:** August 16, 2026 **Application Instructions**: Review of completed applications will begin January 10, 2026 and continue until the position is filled.
