Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318 patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region. We serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility has an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho. We have the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children. Our 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults.

Job Summary And Qualifications
The Cardiac Sonographer is an integral part of the Cardiopulmonary team. We pride ourselves in knowing that our employees are compassionate, kind and deliver high quality, patient centered care. - You will be responsible for the accurate performance and coordination of various procedures in the Echocardiology Department, which includes Echocardiograms, vascular work, transesophageal echo, pacemaker analysis and exercise echo
- You will perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for diagnosis of cardiac disease.
- You must have a working knowledge of stress testing and as it relates to the Echocardiology department. Either exercise stress or pharmacological stress
- You will participate in PI activities.
- You will assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing.
- You will assist with other non-invasive cardo diagnostic testing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
- (RCCS) Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RVS) Registered Vascular Specialist must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
