Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight to Business Office Managers across multiple locations
- Ensure timely and accurate billing for Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private pay accounts
- Monitor accounts receivable (AR) and implement strategies to reduce aging and improve cash flow
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies
- Train, mentor, and support facility-based business office staff
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to resolve billing and reimbursement issues
- Analyze financial reports and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist with budget planning, forecasting, and revenue cycle optimization initiatives
- Lead process improvement efforts and implement best practices across the region
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience in healthcare business office operations, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing
- 2 years of multi-site or regional management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing processes
- Proven track record of improving AR, collections, and operational efficiency
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel regularly within the region
