Financial Analyst

Supports development and maintenance of company's consolidated budget/forecast and corporate strategy. Assists in development and monitoring of corporate strategy. Supports budget development and consolidation process, ensuring timeliness and financial accuracy. Provides analysis and presentation preparation, to support investment decisions going before Investment Review Committee. Supports reviewing, updating and communication of capital cost utilized for business and investment decisions.
At least 3 years related experience. Knowledge of financial management and analysis, utility and/or relevant industry, and accounting standards and practices. Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Teaming, analytical, and customer focus skills. Some expertise in consolidated financial planning and analysis, capital allocation, project financial analysis, MA analysis, due diligence process, and understanding of accounting, tax and financing principles. Knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint. Aptitude for continuous learning. Education: Bachelor (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.) Preferred Degree: Accounting, Business, or Finance
