Eastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications for the full-time position of Head Coach, Women’s and Men’s Tennis on the Melbourne Campus in Melbourne, Florida.

Position ConceptThe Head Coach will oversee the men’s and women’s tennis program in all facets from recruiting, teaching, mentoring, monitoring academic success and administration.
Minimum QualificationsThe following minimum qualifications for this position must be met before any applicant will be considered:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- At least three years prior college tennis coaching experience.
- Knowledge of NJCAA rules.
- Must possess valid Florida driver’s license (able to get one if outside the state).
- High energy.
- Great teacher of the game.
- Passion for the sport.
- Professional demeanor and public relation skills.
- Able to work as a team player within the Athletic Department and with Faculty and Staff.
- This position will require successful fingerprinting and the candidate chosen will be required to pay (currently $36.00). This fingerprinting fee ($36.00) is non-refundable.

- High school diploma or GED or transcripts or official transcripts of all collegiate work (as appropriate for the position) must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Human Resources Office prior to the first day of employment. All foreign degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc.

- Works outside in various weather conditions.
