The company uses 3D BIM technology and a climate-controlled manufacturing environment to deliver lightweight, cost-effective panels produced by experienced craftspeople. EEWS solutions simplify jobsite logistics by reducing lay-down space needs, minimizing installation crew size, and limiting on-site waste. Role Description The Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in Allentown, PA. This position is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings for prefabricated wall panel systems, using CAD and BIM tools under the guidance of project engineers and designers.

The role also involves maintaining organized drawing files, assisting with revisions and as-built documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of drafting processes and templates.
Qualifications

• Technical drafting and design skills, including proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and familiarity with BIM tools (e.g., Revit or similar).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in dimensions and layouts.
• Understanding of construction methods and materials, preferably related to prefabricated wall systems, exterior façades, or commercial building projects.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining drawing standards, version control, and clear file management.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, project managers, and shop personnel in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic math and geometry skills for calculations related to measurements, quantities, and design adjustments.
• Ability to work on-site in Allentown, PA, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project priorities in a production-oriented setting.
• Associate degree or technical certificate in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field; relevant experience in construction or manufacturing drafting is a plus.
• Experience with 3D modeling, shop drawing creation, or panelized construction is beneficial.
