Qualifications:
GS-11 Minimum Qualifications Requirement- To be eligible at the GS-11 level, you must meet the specialized experience requirement defined below:Specialized Experience: You must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience providing legal administrative, litigation support, and case management services in support of attorneys engaged in criminal and/or civil litigation; preparing and processing complex legal documents; coordinating court filings and legal processes; managing and organizing electronic and paper discovery; utilizing litigation support and case management software; assisting with trial preparation and presentation; conducting legal and factual research; and providing technical and administrative support to attorneys and legal staff. Demonstrated ability in coordinating workflow, prioritizing multiple assignments, providing guidance or training to support staff, and ensure work products meet established standards for accuracy, timeliness, and quality; OR
Education: Possess one of the following types of educationin a closely related field (e.g. Criminal Justice): PH.D or equivalent or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR
Combination: A combination of specialized experience as described in A and education as described in B which when combined equal 100% of the requirements. In order to qualify based on a combination, graduate education must be in excess of 2 full years.

Responsibilities:
As a Lead Legal Administrative Specialist, you will support the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) by providing legal administration oversight and advisory services.Duties include:
- Serves as the lead and mentor for Legal Administrative Specialists and Legal Assistants, providing guidance on legal support operations, litigation support, and procedural matters.
- Oversees workload distribution, workflow management, and quality control to ensure timely and accurate completion of legal support functions across the Criminal Division.
- Supports supervisor in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and consistency in district-wide legal support operations.
- Coordinates and oversees complex legal processes including search warrants, grand jury matters, Title III wiretaps, court filings, and mandatory reporting requirements.
- Provides litigation technology and trial support to AUSAs, including management of electronic discovery, trial presentation systems, databases, and document organization.
- Assists attorneys with trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, indexing discovery, and coordinating document production for complex litigation matters.
