What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing and Communications Specialist position at Eastern Carver County Schools?
Position Description:
This position writes, develops, and designs content for a variety of Community Education marketing vehicles and publications, including but not limited to website, social media, catalogs, flyers, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of a 2-year certification in communication, graphic design, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the District
Preferred:
- BS/BA degree in Communications or marketing, community education, or related field
- Experience in budget supervision
- Knowledge of Community Education relevant statutes, rules, and policies
- Experience with video production and editing
- Experience with digital photography and editing
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Experience Requirements: Three (3) years' experience in a similar position/essential duties of the position.
