About the Opportunity

The Eastern Bartholomew County Water Corporation is currently seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background drinking water treatment and distribution, demonstrated leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellence.

Salary

Compensation will be based upon experience but will range between $69,264 and $84,655.annually.

Key Responsibilities

·      Manage, supervise and motivate employees.

·      Meet and converse with the public regarding water consumption and quality and service issues

·      Must have a working knowledge of budgeting, purchasing and financial controls.

Supervision

·      The Assistant Water Superintendent works under the supervision of the Water Superintendent

Qualifications

·      WT-3 Certification (Indiana) or ability to obtain

·      DS-L Certification (Indiana) or ability to obtain

·      High School graduation or GED equivalent required

·      Advanced Education / College Degree desired but not required

·      Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·      Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

·      Proficiency with industry-specific tools and software.

About Eastern Water

Eastern Bartholomew County Water Corporation is a rural water utility serving currently over 6,000 member/customers in south central Indiana. Ground water is pumped from wells and treated at the Taylorsville facility. There are nine dedicated staff members who handle billing, treatment and maintenance of approximately 300 miles of water distribution lines and five elevated tanks. The Utility has seen considerable growth over recent years and is poised to experience more.
