Eastern Advisory Group is excited to offer a unique Winter Break Program designed for college students graduating in May 2026 who are interested in exploring a future career in financial advising, wealth management, and financial planning. This immersive short-term program provides students with direct exposure to the profession through advisor-led instruction, hands-on learning, and professional training. We will have two sessions to choose from either January 5th and 7th or January 12th and 14th.
What You’ll Experience
Participants will:
- Learn directly from experienced financial advisors about financial planning, wealth management, and the day-to-day responsibilities of the profession.
- Explore multiple career paths within financial services, including advisory roles, client service, business development, and planning support positions.
Participate in structured training classes covering essential topics such as:
- Licensing and pre-financing requirements for entering the financial industry
- How to build and grow a successful financial advising business
- Life insurance policy types and how they fit into comprehensive financial strategies
- Annuity types and their role in long-term retirement planning
- Investment platforms and tools used by advisors
- How to find, attract, and engage investment clients
- Networking and marketing fundamentals to help build a client base
- Basics of client communication and relationship-building
- Ethical and regulatory considerations within the financial profession
- Engage in hands-on exercises, case studies, and simulated client scenarios to build practical skills.
