Position Summary

Easterly is seeking an experienced sales professional with a strong track record of building new sales opportunities and servicing prospective and existing clients. This individual will leverage their proven cultivated network in the Mid-Atlantic region to generate sales with a focus on the US Wealth segments, including RIAs, financial advisors, sophisticated family offices and high net worth individuals. The position reports to the Head of Sales.

 

Primary responsibilities shall include the following:

·        Run the Mid Atlantic sales region, including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, DC, cultivating new and existing relationships to drive net new assets

·        Demonstrate the ability to form positive relationships with prospects and clients

·        Deep knowledge and understanding across asset classes and ability to distill complex investment strategies into simple and articulate messages to advise US Wealth advisors  

·        Collaborate with internal stakeholders like portfolio managers to ensure alignment of clients’ objectives and goals

·        Conduct thorough meeting preparation, coordinating prep calls and managing the appropriate follow-up required to close sales.

·        Document all sales and client service activities in the firm’s CRM system, Salesforce

·        Knowledgeable of current market trends and the competitive landscape, and use that research and analysis to support messaging

·        Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple simultaneous priorities and initiatives

·        Thrive in a highly regulated environment that demands compliance oversight

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

·        Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance

·        7-10 years of proven experience in investment sales is required.

·        Work independently with minimal guidance

·        Highly effective communicator with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

·        Initiative, drive, and ability to work under pressure to meet and exceed sales objectives.

·        FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensed
