Eastdil Secured is seeking an Associate and Vice President to join our Investment Sales and Capital Markets team in our Washington, DC office. This role will focus on Digital Infrastructure (Data Centers), encompassing investment sales and capital markets advisory, including equity raises, land transactions, and the sale of stabilized assets. The individual will be afforded new challenges with the opportunity to develop deep expertise in one of the fastest-growing real estate sectors with long-term, favorable tailwinds. This position will involve complex quantitative analysis and financial modeling, as well as oversight of the underwriting process, creation and execution of marketing collateral, transaction execution, and providing hands-on training and oversight of a team of Analysts.
Essential Functions
- Management of comprehensive real estate valuation and transaction structure analyses with support from team of Analysts
- Serve as a core member of the team, executing data center, land, investment sale, and equity raise transactions, working closely with senior leadership and clients
- Management of transaction processes, including financial underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution with direct client interaction
- Independent production of pitches, proposals, and marketing materials
- Track and maintain market information databases tracking recent sale transactions, construction and development projects, and leasing activity
- Collaboration with senior team members in identification, evaluation, and pursuit of new business initiatives
- Develop relationships outside the firm with comparable peer groups
Education and Qualifications
- 5 years of institutional commercial real estate or investment banking experience for Vice President candidates; 3 years for Associate candidates
- Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for business, real estate, finance and accounting concentrations
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry with a focus on real estate finance and digital infrastructure
- Advanced Excel-based financial modeling skills and strong attention to detail
- ARGUS proficiency is preferred
- Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of real estate transactions with advanced underwriting techniques and deep understanding of equity and debt capitalization structures
- Ability to conceptualize real estate investment opportunities within the framework of relevant microeconomic and macroeconomic factors
- Demonstrated ability to work within a highly collaborative team setting
- Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high quality work under tight time frames
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to completion independently within agreed upon deadlines
- Ability to learn, think strategically and ask questions
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Display strong sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results

Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
