What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Education Teacher Hrly (GED, Willimantic, Evenings Tu Th) position at EASTCONN Adult & Community Programs - Community Learning Center?
EASTCONN is acceping applications for a part-time, evening, GED instructor at our Community Learning Center in Wilimantic. Class will be held from 5:30 to 8 PM, Tuesday and Thursday. Flexibility to work at multiple sites is preferred.
The successful candidate will assist in developing curriculum, have an understanding of the CCRS, have the ability to differentiate instruction, integrate technology into the class experience, and be a team player.
The successful applicant must possess the ability to teach in a positive and supportive manner to a multiracial, multicultural, and multilevel group of participants.
Required: Bachelor's Degree in education or related field, and certified or certifiable in CT Adult Education (#107). Prior experience teaching GED is preferred.
