We are currently recruiting for a part time English Language Learner Teacher for adults at EASTCONN's Windham Community Learning Center location (Tyler Square). Multi-level evening classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 - 8. The successful candidate will preferably have prior experience teaching ELL in Adult Education programs and be well versed in multicultural and differentiated learning.
Experience working in a technology-rich classroom setting preferred. He/she must be able to engage the students in meaningful instruction, developing personalized, high-interest lessons. Bachelor's degree required, as well as CT Adult Education ESL certified or certifiable (# 088 endorsement).
Flexibility to work at multiple sites preferred.
