What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sound Technician position at East Woods Presbyterian Church?
We need a sound technician to run a Behringer x32/s16 platform sound system for our Presbyterian church. This job will start May 27 and end after Aug 6 while our regular tech is gone. We need someone to be here on Sundays from 8:30 am until about 11:30 am for a rehearsal and the church service. Some weeks there will also be a rehearsal on Thursday nights from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
You will be responsible for making sure all mics for musicians and the pastor are set and ready to go. You will interface with live-stream volunteers to make sure that the sound feed is strong and clear. You will maintain proper channel processing (gain, dynamics, EQ, gate, etc). Test microphones with worship leaders. Ensure proper battery levels in wireless mics.
Pay: $17.25 - $20.00 per hour
