After School Activities Program Staff plan, supervise, and facilitate a variety of enrichment, recreational, academic, and social activities for students in a structured after-school setting. Staff members foster positive relationships while ensuring student safety and promoting an inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in accordance with district policies and procedures.
- Lead or assist with engaging activities
- Create a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students.
- Maintain appropriate student behavior through positive classroom management techniques.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at all times.
- Communicate effectively with program coordinators, school staff, and families as needed.
- Assist with student attendance, dismissal, and daily program operations.
- Perform other duties related to the successful operation of the after-school program.
Work Schedule:
- School days during the academic year.
- Afternoon hours following student dismissal.
- Flexible schedules may be available based on program needs.
Compensation:
- Based on the extra-stipend schedule of the current Teachers Contract
- PAid bi-annually in Decemebr and June
