Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant at East Windsor Dental Arts, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentist and dental hygienist and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. You will assist with clinical procedures, manage patient records, sterilize instruments, and provide outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Take digital x-rays and digital impressions
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare and maintain operatories
- Provide patient education and ensure comfort throughout the treatment process
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and answering phone calls as needed
- Manage supplies and maintain inventory
Requirements:
- Radiology license preferred, but not required
- Experience in dental assisting preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- CPR/BLS certification a plus
