Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Highland Park

*Short-Term Role*

• Start Date: May 4th
• Hours: 8 am - 5 pm on Monday and Friday in May, and 27 hours guaranteed (any 3 days)  June-August; flexible to provide 3 days in May as well
• Hourly Rate: $27-35
• Children: 4-year-old boy
• Pets: 1 cat
• Paid Vacation: 1-2 sick or personal days

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT:  If your ideal summer includes sunshine, playgrounds, packed lunches, and a very enthusiastic little sidekick—this might be your perfect match. This is not a “sit on the couch” kind of summer—and that’s exactly the point.
  
  This Highland Park family is looking for an energetic, playful, and fully engaged nanny to spend the summer adventuring with their busy four-year-old son. He’s the definition of all boy energy—constantly on the move, curious about everything, and happiest when he’s out exploring the world. One minute he’s racing toy cars across the living room, the next he’s asking what’s next on the agenda. Your days will be anything but routine—in the best way. Think trips to the zoo, children’s museum, aviary, playground hopping, and local playgroups where he can interact with other kids. If the day calls for it, there may even be the occasional pool stop—

  you don’t have to be a swimmer, but if you hear “Marco!” and instinctively yell “Polo!”… you’re our kind of person.
  
  The family would love someone who naturally takes initiative, packs up snacks, and heads out the door ready to make the day fun and full. This is a summer-focused role, perfect for someone who thrives in a more active, on-the-go environment. The schedule will be 2 days/week in May and 3 days per week for the remainder of the summer, with flexibility on which days work best for everyone.
  
  While your main focus will be keeping this little guy engaged and active, helping the household run smoothly is always appreciated. This may include children’s laundry, light tidying (vacuuming, sweeping), and simple dinner prep to take a bit off the parents’ plates.  This family truly values time together—whether that’s being outside, heading to a baseball game, or just enjoying a relaxed evening at home. They’re looking for someone who will step in, bring great energy, and create a fun, memorable summer for their son.

Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
