In this key role, you'll be responsible for preparing financial statements, budgets, and replacement reserve studies for our portfolio of managed Homeowner Associations. As a senior team member, you’ll also have the opportunity to supervise and mentor junior accountants and financial analysts, helping develop the next generation of financial talent. Your Role: Lead by example to create a positive, welcoming environment for teammates, owners, and guests; maintain open communication and support East West Hospitality’s vision, mission, and values. Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, budgets, and replacement reserve studies; ensure accuracy and timely distribution, and respond to inquiries from stakeholders, Boards, and staff. Review accounts payable entries, oversee source system data accuracy, maintain compliance with reporting requirements (sales tax, 1099s, 1042s), and continually optimize accounting workflows. Support and mentor teammates by cross-training in various financial roles, providing financial system assistance to on-site staff, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. Present financial results to Homeowner Boards, assist Managers with budget preparation, and respond to owner, guest, and internal staff requests for financial information and training. Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round Pay Rate: $33 - $36/hour Schedule: Flexible schedule, with required attendance at HOA Board Meetings—typically held during business hours (M–F) but occasionally in the evening. Posting Closes: 11/10/2025 or when filled Start Date: ASAP Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or a combination of suitable industry experience and 2–5 years of related accounting experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations, with hands-on experience in financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and audit procedures. Expertise in preparing complex financial statements, managing month-end and year-end close processes, performing reconciliations, journal entries, and maintaining general ledgers. Proficient in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting. Demonstrated ability to guide and support junior accounting staff, manage accounting projects, and maintain effective internal controls and organizational standards.
