Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare bar area for service in accordance with Viceroy standards. Ensure bar mise-en-place is completed base on BEO and ready before event starts. Receive beverage orders from service staff and from guests at the bar and dispense drinks as requested. Responsible for cash and for correct charging of drinks, if event requires. Ensure a minimum loss through breakage and waste. Maintain adequate bar beverage stocks during event. Responsible con consumption on each event and report to Banquet Captain or MOD. Adheres strictly to the provisions and regulations regarding underage drinking and the policies of Viceroy and laws of Colorado. Responsible for breakdown of bar, making sure bar is clean for next events and storage, liquor room must be organized and neat after each shift, label condiments and juices, take care of trash and recycling. Follow grooming standards of Viceroy Hotel and maintain appropriate verbiage with coworkers and guest. Be knowledgeable of all liquor items, specialty cocktails their garnish, contents and preparation methods.
