East West Bank, based in Pasadena, California, is currently seeking a Relationship Manager/Business Development Officer within its Specialty Deposit Services group. Candidate should have proven experience developing a deposit portfolio across diverse markets. We are seeking a deposit gatherer with the ability to bring in significant new business immediately.


This role can be in California or New York


  • The Relationship Manager/Business Development Officer will focus on generating revenue from new and existing clients and seek for new business opportunities within the specialty deposits area.
  • Research of new markets, lead development, and sales relationship management. Develop new business fiduciary deposit market to include, Chief Restructuring Officers (CROs) Liquidating & Post‑Confirmation Trustees, Disbursing Agents, Claims Agents, Class Action Suit Administrators, Chapter 11 Trustees, Receivers & Assignees, and other fiduciary focused organizations.
  • Proven track history in outside sales, preferably in bank deposit gathering.
  • Provides advice and counsel to prospects and customers regarding deposits and related matters, representing the Bank's best interests at all times.
  • Consistently operates in compliance with banking laws and regulations, established Bank policies and procedures, audit and security policies.
  • Maintains a strong working knowledge of the Bank's products and services especially with regard to deposit and cash management products and services
  • Excellent relationship management skills, excellent presentation skills with the ability to work well independently.


  • 15 years of senior level knowledge and experience in commercial bank operations, deposit products, complex treasury products / current technology trends, sales.
  • Proven ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building and communication skills.
  • Understanding of regulations governing financial products/services.
  • Experience within the legal, accounting, or fiduciary markets strongly preferred.
  • Four year college degree strongly preferred
  • Overnight and national travel required.

Compensation


The base pay range for this position is USD $150,000.00/Yr. - USD $250,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
