Sporting Goods Store Swim Assistant Manager
East Valley Sports is a 30 year-old company that is part of the community specializing in team and retail sports gear and uniforms. We service schools, community teams, and the individual athlete, in store, online and at outside events. We have a busy fun family atmosphere.
This is a mostly full time position throughout the year with flex hours during certain times of year. Position has growth possibilities.
Experience or background in team sports, especially swimming, is helpful, but not a must.
Looking for a long term hire/career person with skills or ability to learn to: assist retail and team customers in store, by phone and email, order processing, inventory control, inventory receiving, invoicing, point of sale, online team store management, female suit and tech suit sizing, prep and work swim meets and fittings, manage retail floor, and other areas in the store, supervising, apparel decoration application, and simple graphics.

- Able to climb a ladder, stoop, and bend
- Able to lift approx 40lbs
- Able to work approx twelve swim meets/fitting events in a calendar year
- Able to work one Saturday a month in store in addition to swim meet Saturdays when calendared.
