Applications are being accepted for the position of Receptionist at the East Valley Institute of Technology's Main Campus - 1601 W Main St in Mesa. The hours are M-F 7:30-4:00. This is a 12-month position
Job Summary
The front receptionist is often the first point of contact for people who call or visit EVIT. As such, they should be prepared to handle a wide range of inquiries and requests. The receptionist greets the public, answers phone calls, and provides general office and clerical support to school administrators. The receptionist job requires a blend of excellent customer service, administrative and clerical skills. It is essential that the person for this role is organized, able to multi-task, be flexible and have a "can do" approach to work, as no two days are the same and good attendance is a must. The receptionist will coordinate front-desk activities, such as distributing correspondence and answering and redirecting incoming phone calls, maintaining and ordering general office supplies and equipment, and provide other clerical support as needed.

Salary: Starting at $21.48 - 25.00 Placement will be based on a combination of education and relevant experience.

Qualifications
- Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school or equivalent, and
- One or more years of customer service experience,
- One or more years of increasingly responsible clerical experience, or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
- Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
- Experience as a receptionist or office support in a school district.
- Knowledge and experience using Google school-related software.
