The Project Manager (Onsite) oversees the planning, execution, and completion of spray foam roofing projects for residential and commercial buildings.
This role involves leading a team of technicians and installers to ensure projects meet quality standards, safety protocols, and client specifications, while adhering to timelines and budgets.
The position requires a blend of technical expertise in spray foam roofing application, strong leadership skills, and project management experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on fieldwork alongside the crew—troubleshooting equipment issues, monitoring foam mixing and curing processes, and ensuring proper thickness and density for optimal roofing performance.
- Coordinate and supervise daily operations of the spray foam roofing division, including crew and truck scheduling, site preparation, material ordering, and day-to-day installation activities.
- Conduct site assessments and consultations to determine project scope, material requirements, and compliance with building codes and safety standards.
- Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, including pre-trip inspections of spray rigs and coordination with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to address project challenges, provide progress updates, and facilitate final quality checks and walk-throughs.
- Enforce safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, hazard identification, and adherence to OSHA guidelines during high-risk applications such as high-reach roofing work.
- Train and mentor crew members on best practices for foam roofing application, equipment maintenance, and quality control to maintain high standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, such as adopting new foam roofing technologies or weather-resistant coating methods to enhance project efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of spray foam roofing systems, including open/closed-cell foams, foam and coating equipment, and correct application methods.
- Experience in roofing or general construction crew and on-site project management (5 years).
- Proven leadership experience managing crews of 4–10 technicians in spray foam roofing or similar construction environments.
- Certifications such as SPRI (Single Ply Roofing Industry) or OSHA safety training and EPA certification for handling chemicals are a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs; willingness to work in varied conditions, including roofs and outdoor sites.
- Physical fitness for demanding fieldwork and ability to travel to job sites.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
