East Union Community School District is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Secondary Student Council Advisor to guide and support the student council in grades 7-12. The advisor will help develop student leadership, foster school spirit, and promote positive student involvement in school and community activities.
Responsibilities:

Advise and mentor the secondary student council, assisting with leadership development and goal setting.

Guide students in planning, organizing, and executing school events, fundraisers, and community service projects.

Facilitate communication between student council, school administration, and faculty.

Support student council in establishing and maintaining a positive and inclusive school culture.

Attend student council meetings, events, and activities as necessary.

Encourage student participation and engagement in school governance and leadership opportunities.
Qualifications:

Current teaching or staff position at East Union Community School District preferred.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to inspire and mentor students to develop leadership skills and a sense of responsibility.

Enthusiasm for working with students and promoting school involvement.
