Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to provide academic support and mentorship to students across various subjects. Duties
- Deliver personalized tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs in multiple subjects
- Develop and implement effective curriculum plans that align with educational standards and student goals
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support student achievement
- Assist in organizing educational events, workshops, or fundraising activities as needed
- Participate in strategic planning, management, and supervision of tutoring programs or initiatives
- Contribute to education administration tasks such as record keeping, reporting, and program evaluation
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior tutors or interns when applicable
- Engage in public speaking opportunities to promote educational programs and advocate for student success
Experience
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting, including classroom experience or tutoring roles
- Strong background in curriculum development, teaching, and education administration
- Demonstrated leadership skills with management or supervising experience in educational environments
- Experience in fundraising, strategic planning, budgeting, or senior leadership roles within education organizations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak publicly and motivate diverse audiences
- Prior management or supervisory experience is desirable for leadership positions within tutoring programs
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and best practices for student engagement
