Job Description
Appealing candidates would have verifiable training and/or work related experience as a MIG welder where welding was the primary duty. Qualified candidates would also have experience with the following: cranes, porta-powers, fabrication, wiring, wet lines, as well as deconstructing and re-constructing semi-trailers.

Qualifications
- Formal training and/or work related experience as a MIG welder (GMAW)
- Basic understanding of the fitting and assembly process
- Solid understanding in the proper use of a tape measure
- All fitting work done with a tape measure requiring a good working knowledge of fractional math
- Physically able to lift as much as 50 lbs on an occasional basis
- Able to occasionally work low and from a ladder
Other Requirements
- Present well and be able to read, write and communicate effectively
- Possess a high school diploma or GED and be prepared to present proof if requested
- Have a reasonably stable employment history for the past five years or since graduating from a trade or vocational training institution
- Pass a criminal and driver's license background check
- Possess a valid, active driver's license
- Have reliable transportation
- Work M-Sat, up to 60 hours every week
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
Wage Schedule
- The starting wage is $22.70 an hour
- Increases of 50¢ an hour at 6 months and 12 months, plus 2 years and 3 years
- Additional undetermined increases could apply during the first three years of employment
- Overtime consistently available and paid at time-and-a-half
