Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Music Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, comfortable working with students of varying ages and skill levels, and committed to fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach private lessons.
- Customize lesson plans to meet the needs, interests, and goals of each student.
- Communicate effectively with students and families to support steady progress and engagement.
- Maintain accurate attendance and lesson records.
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and auditions.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative studio environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in Music, Music Education, or equivalent experience.
- Prior teaching experience (private or classroom) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual, organized, and dependable.
- Ability to create a welcoming and motivating atmosphere for students.
- Must pass a background check prior to hiring.
