Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Lab/Recovery professional. This position plays a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations and ensuring the smooth recovery process.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient after surgery, go over post-op instructions with driver and walk patient to car.
- Record prescriptions in computer and complete surgery information.
- Clean and maintain all lab equipment
- Wash, maintain and clean surgical trays
- Rewrap trays and sterilize all instruments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the lab
- Assist the surgical assistants with xrays and pack appointments.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling samples
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills to manage sample tracking and documentation
- Basic understanding of scientific terminology and procedures
