Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Veterinary technician to join our team at our hospitals; delivering exceptional animal care and supporting our mission of compassionate service. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to our commitment to providing high-quality veterinary services.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
- Monitor animal patients pre- and post-surgery.
- Provide education to pet owners regarding animal care and health.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Handle animals safely and compassionately during treatment.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of animal physiology and veterinary terminology.
- Experience with laboratory procedures and critical care.
- Ability to handle animals safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for client education.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques in veterinary practice is preferred.
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to compassionate care.
