We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team!Job SummaryThe East Side Union High School District (ESUHSD) is seeking a skilled and passionate Sculpture Coach to collaborate with the Visual Arts Instructor in supporting and enhancing classroom instruction assisting students in creating three-dimensional art forms. The position provides instructional and technical support in a variety of sculpture media—such as clay, plaster, wire, wood, metal, paper, and 3D printing—using both additive and subtractive methods. The coach collaborates closely with the Visual Arts Instructor to promote an inclusive, safe, and engaging studio environment that nurtures student creativity and skill development in the 3D Arts.Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications/Certifications:

• Working knowledge of sculpture materials and techniques (clay, plaster, wire, wood, metal, paper, and/or 3D printing)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills to manage tools, materials, and classroom resources effectively
• Experience working with high school students, particularly multilingual or at-risk youth, preferred

• Assist students in the design and creation of sculpture projects using diverse materials and techniques
• Provide targeted support to at-risk students to ensure equitable access to learning opportunities
• Demonstrate safe and proper use of tools, equipment
• Prepare and organize classroom materials, tools, and equipment for daily instruction
• Support classroom management and monitor student progress under teacher supervision
• Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and artistic experimentation among students Other Duties/Responsibilities: The coach would ideally come to every class period that the instructor is teaching a 3D Course Key Tasks/Duties:
