Throughout the school year, the coach will work alongside a credentialed teacher at District High Schools, supporting the school’s beginning, intermediate, and advanced instrumental music students. This "instrument specific" role includes preparation and instruction to work towards mastery, contributing to high-quality music education for a diverse student body. May be assigned to multiple sections and/or multiple sites.Requirements / Qualifications

- Experience in instrument specific pedagogy (Winds, Percussion, Guitar, Piano, Strings, etc.), rehearsal planning and implementation
- Experience teaching high school-aged students
- Experience teaching small group and one on one instruction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation

- Collaborate with the Instrumental director(s) so as to align with overall goals of the program
- Provide one on one and small group instruction designed to enhance students technical proficiency
- Provide one on one and small group instruction designed to enhance students musical expression
- Foster student creativity, discipline, and teamwork in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment Other Duties/Responsibilities:
- Person serving in this capacity would be assigned to instrumental music classes
- May need to teach at multiple sites to meet requirement of base assignment Key Tasks/Duties:
