Production Powder Coating Inspector - Swing shift

East Side Plating is currently hiring for an Inspector position for our swing shift operations. The Inspector takes customer parts off racks after the powder coating process and inspects the parts to ensure they meet the customer's quality requirements. Inspectors also package the parts for shipment to the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Removes parts from process racks and performs visual quality inspection
• Thickness gauges, thread gauges and pin gauges may be used to ensure dimensional requirements are met
• Removes masking and/or plugs from parts as required by customer specifications
• Performs deburring/cleaning of powder coating flashing
• Makes recommendations for improvements
• Tracks and records work order information in computer
• Follows safety guidelines, achieves and maintains quality and productivity standards, maintains an acceptable dependability level, and must not pose risk to self or others.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform visual inspection on parts after processing to ensure quality requirements are met
• Ability to use small hand tools
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and receive direction from others
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, and work well with others
• Able to work while standing during your shift
• Ability to lift parts and push carts up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to wear gloves and safety glasses
  
  

Shifts: Swing: Mon - Thu, 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM

Wage: $20.00/hour $1.65/hour shift differential
