Job Summary

Job Summary

The East Side Union High School District (ESUHSD) is seeking a skilled and passionate Visual Artist Coach to collaborate with the Visual Arts Instructor in supporting and enhancing classroom instruction. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience across various artistic mediums and techniques, with a passion for mentoring and guiding students in their artistic development. This role will assist the instructor in reinforcing techniques, enhancing learning outcomes, and helping to preparing materials to ensure a dynamic and effective art education environment.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications/Certifications: • Experience as a visual artist with expertise in multiple mediums (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.) • Strong technical proficiency in various art forms and teaching techniques • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback • Strong organizational skills for managing materials and classroom resources • Passionate about teaching and working with students of diverse skill levels •Patient, approachable, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment •Experience teaching, mentoring, or coaching youth preferred

Must complete Edjoin online application, and submit Resume and Letters of Recommendation/Reference. Selected candidates must pass fingerprint clearance and provide current TB test results PRIOR to employment.
