Contract Length: 10 months (AugustMay) June and July off
Starting Wage: $20/hour (dependent on experience)

Start Date: Flexible candidates may begin as early as late April for training or start in August for continuous employment
Position Overview
The District Data Manager plays a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of East Sac County CSD through strong data management, communication, and organizational skills. This position supports multiple departments including Food Service, Activities/Athletics, Central Office, Administration, and Marketing/Communications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, technology-proficient, and able to manage multiple workflows with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Food Service & Nutrition Program Management
- Manage the district's Free and Reduced Nutrition Program, including applications, eligibility reporting, and state compliance.
- Monitor and process lunch account balance payments.
- Send notifications to families regarding low or negative meal account balances.
- Assist the Food Service Director with communications, reporting, and clerical support as needed.
- Submission of annual Procurement Plan
Activities, Athletics & Event Support
- Assist the ESC Activities/Athletic Director with preparing and depositing gate money for events.
- Enter activities, events, and schedules into BOUND, ensuring the activity calendar remains accurate and up to date.
- Assist with official contracts and payments for athletic events.
- Send reminder emails and communications to event workers, officials, and volunteers.
- Ensure entry fees for events are paid and received in a timely manner.
- Creation and distribution of district activity passes
- HVAC reminders to Carroll Controls
- Creating a weekly activities calendar
- Keeping rosters up to date in Bound (including tracking of physicals, concussion forms, etc.)
- Assisting parents as they create "families" in Bound and upload information
- Keeping track of who has lettered, and what awards they have won
- Assisting coaches by supplying letters, pins, and certificates
- Running off programs and program inserts, as needed
Marketing & Communications
- Support district administration in maintaining and updating the school website.
- Assist with district communications, social media posting, and community engagement.
- Create graphics, flyers, and visual content to ensure consistent and professional district messaging.
- Request and gather content from staff, coaches, and administrators to support ongoing communication needs.
Accounting & Central Office Support
- Assist the central office with invoice processing and payments as needed.
- Support the organization and maintenance of personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist the Business Manager with payroll corrections and substitute teacher payments.
- Provide support for the organization and management of school registration processes and payments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree (2-year degree) in Human Resources, Accounting, Communications, Marketing or Related Field required.
- Proficiency with technology, including spreadsheets, email systems, and online platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism at all times.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
Work Schedule & Flexibility
- This position operates on a 10-month contract (AugustMay).
- June and July are non-working months.
- Start date is flexible. Candidates may begin late AprilMay to train with outgoing staff or begin in August for a standard school-year start.
- Working Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
