Responsibilities
- Monitor residents’ safety and well-being throughout the night by conducting regular resident observations.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or alarms.
- Document all observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and sanitary environment within the resident’s space.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred.
- Certifications such as CPR, first aid, and HIPAA compliance are required; additional training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care is a plus.
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and document care accurately.
