East River Medical Imaging (ERMI) is now hiring an experienced and proven sales professional to join our team as a Physician Liaison. In this role, you will lead all sales activities in Westchester County from lead generation and database development to networking, events, and outreach initiatives to help drive ERMI’s growth and reputation.
About the Role
As Physician Liaison, you’ll play a key role in driving ERMI’s growth goals by increasing referral volume, building strong physician partnerships, and ensuring our referring providers have an exceptional experience. This is a high-visibility role where you’ll combine sales expertise, relationship-building, and market insight to position ERMI as the imaging partner of choice.
Responsibilities include:
Business Development & Sales:
- Generate new diagnostic imaging business and grow referrals from existing physicians.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge across ERMI’s imaging services and their value to different specialties.
- Develop an annual sales plan with monthly/quarterly goals by modality.
- Drive outbound sales through database development, field visits, and networking.
Relationship Management:
- Maintain regular contact with referring physicians to ensure high satisfaction.
- Educate providers and staff on ERMI’s services and physician portal.
- Serve as a consistent, courteous, and helpful representative of ERMI in the community.
Market Insight & Strategy:
- Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics; share insights with leadership.
- Assist with marketing plan development and implementation.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track outreach, meetings, and outcomes using CRM tools.
- Analyze referral trends and provide monthly/quarterly reporting to identify opportunities.
Collaboration & Internal Support:
- Partner with marketing, clinical, and operations teams to support referring practices.
- Contribute to internal documentation, sales resources, and staff training materials.
- Demonstrate a collaborative, solutions-focused, and “can-do” approach with colleagues.
- Spend approximately 80% of your time in the field meeting with physicians across Westchester County and 20% in the office or working remotely.

About You
You’d be a great fit if you bring the following:
- 3 years of proven success in healthcare sales — products, devices, or services (radiology, oncology, orthopedics, pharmaceutical, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare, or a related field.
- Adequate schedule flexibility, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- COVID-19 vaccination within the past 5 years (required).
- Passion for patient care and building meaningful physician relationships.
- Proficiency with CRM and reporting tools; disciplined with documentation and follow-through.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
Self-starter and sales-driven mindset with the ability to hit the ground running.
