Responsibilities include:
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment conducive to learning
- Implement our curriculum that the children will respond to positively.
- Partner with our team to enhance the learning environment at our school
- Implement engaging lesson plans, using Abeka curriculum, that promote learning and development
- Provide care and support to preschoolers while maintaining a safe environment
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom atmosphere
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the well-being of all students
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Foster a love for learning through creative teaching methods
Requirements
-Must hold a VPK Teaching Credential with DCF hours
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Proficiency in child welfare and childcare best practices
- Strong organizational skills for effective lesson planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage a classroom independently while working as part of a team
Pay: $30,000.00 per year
