Every student at East Point Academy learns Mandarin Chinese and is taught about life in China, customs, celebrations and history. A bilingual brain is more alert, quicker and better able to deal with complex issues and conflict resolution. Through Mandarin immersion cognitive skills related to language and other subjects are strongly improved.

Position Overview: 

EPA is seeking a passionate, dedicated educator looking to join our school community. We believe educators play a critical role in creating an inclusive and dynamic learning environment, encouraging student growth. 

Core Academic Responsibilities

• Standard Alignment: Deliver adapted lessons using SC Early Learning Standards.
• Developmental Tracking: Monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals across all domains.
• Differentiated Instruction: Tailor activities using assistive technology and modified materials.
• Environment Design: Maintain a safe, sensory-regulated, visually supported, print-rich classroom.

School & Community Engagement 

• Clear Communication: Share daily communication logs regarding specialized developmental milestones.
• Staff Collaboration: Lead instructional aides and work closely with related service providers.
