What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Staff position at East of Texas?
We are hiring Front of House staff for East of Texas - a Texas Mex BBQ restaurant
located in Southside Winston-Salem. We value an excellent level of customer service,
delivering delicious food & drinks to customers each time they visit, and providing a fun
atmosphere for our employees and customers!
We are looking for enthusiastic people who are excited to work hard and fulfill multiple
positions in the Front of House as needed - those positions range from cashier, busser,
using a handheld register to sell beverages on the floor, and bartending. East of Texas
is a counter service restaurant. We are also looking for people with bartending
experience. The positions available are part-time, 20-30 hours/week, with scheduling
availability for lunch & dinner shifts. The hourly rate is $2.13/hr for cashiers & $5/hr for
bartenders and we use a tip pool that is shared between Front of House staff members -
this pay structure typically averages between a $20-30/hourly rate.
Requirements:
● Able to work long shifts and/or double shifts if possible - up to 8-10 total hours
● Stand/walk for entirety of shift
● Able to lift up to 50 lbs
● Must be at least 18 years of age / 21 years old for bartending
● Have a positive attitude and ability work well under pressure
● Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
● Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely
manner
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
