Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen, adhering to health regulations.
- Assist with food preparation for other menu items as needed, including salads, appetizers, and desserts.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with guests when necessary.
- Handle cash register operations accurately when required.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory are required.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
