Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as HungerRush to process sales transactions accurately.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and accurately process cash transactions.
- Assist in food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices are followed.
- Support team members during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and efficient food service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred, but not necessary.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and operating kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with POS system preferred, but will provide training.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order management.
- Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
