Role Description The Physical Therapist Assistant will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. This full-time, on-site role in Honolulu, HI involves implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, and monitoring patient progress and safety during sessions. The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist with patient education on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and injury prevention. Daily tasks include preparing treatment areas, maintaining equipment and cleanliness, accurately documenting treatments in the medical record, and communicating patient status and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist. The role also involves coordinating with front office staff as needed to support smooth patient flow and a positive clinic experience.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to follow and implement therapist-directed treatment plans.
- Strong commitment to Patient Care and Quality Patient Care, including empathy, professionalism, and clear communication with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge and experience in Orthopedics, including common musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical protocols, and functional strengthening.
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Hawaii, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Ability to safely assist patients with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic activities, including occasional lifting and prolonged standing.
- Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with attention to accuracy and regulatory requirements.
- Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and willingness to participate in continuing education and clinic initiatives.
