What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Front Desk Receptionist position at East Meadow Dental Associates?
We are a very busy general dental practice with in house specialists, looking for a Dental Receptionist, who is available to work at least 35 hours per week. The right candidate must have knowledge handling front desk in a dental or medical office and must be computer literate, with the ability to multi-task. Knowledge of the dental software Dentrix is preferred, but we are willing to train. We are looking for the right candidate who is energetic and a team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- -Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner
- -Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- -Answer phone calls, emails, and respond to patient inquiries
- -Verify patient insurance information
- -Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
- -Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- -Handle patient check-in and check-out procedures
- -Maintain a clean, organized front desk area
- -Process patient credit card payments
- -Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
Experience:
- Front desk: 2 years (Preferred, but willing to train)
Salary : $20 - $25
