Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including fixing plumbing, electrical issues, carpentry, and general repairs across the facility
- Conduct inspections to identify potential safety hazards or maintenance needs before they escalate
- Install, assemble, and repair fixtures, furniture, appliances, and equipment as required
- Respond promptly to repair requests from staff or management to minimize downtime
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used
- In charge of implementing winter site maintenance protocols
- Assist with deliveries and site clean up
- Move and lift heavy items
- Assist with basic landscaping needs
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in general handyman duties or related maintenance roles
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and basic appliance repair
- Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and implement effective solutions
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on work progress
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
