Maintenance Staff

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. This energetic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across building systems and equipment. Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building interior systems, HVAC units, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and facilities equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform repairs using hand tools, power tools.
• snow removal, plow, snow blower, shovel.
• Maintain HVAC systems through troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of components such as filters, thermostats, compressors, and electrical controls.
• Repair electrical equipment including wiring, switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure safety and compliance.
• Execute plumbing maintenance tasks such as pipe repairs, leak detection, fixture replacement, and system upgrades.
• Lead or assist with carpentry projects including maintenance painting and building interior modifications as needed.
• Supervise or collaborate with team members on complex maintenance projects while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.Requirements
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical work.
• Strong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, HVAC systems (including repair), plumbing systems (maintenance & repair), and building interior maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools such as ohmmeters and schematics reading skills.
• Ability to perform welding tasks safely and effectively; experience with HVAC system repair is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to read technical schematics and manuals fluently.
• Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance teams is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects; standing or walking for extended periods is required.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
