Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as the primary HR leader and business partner for leadership and management teams
- Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and practices aligned with organizational values and regulatory requirements
- Support workforce planning, organizational growth, and change management initiatives
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding for clinical and non‑clinical roles, including hard‑to‑fill positions
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective hiring strategies and realistic staffing expectations
- Ensure consistent onboarding processes across all sites
- Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on performance management, corrective action, attendance, and workplace conduct
- Conduct and support investigations involving employee relations issues
- Promote fair, consistent, and compliant application of HR practices
- Support compensation administration, including pay ranges, offers, adjustments, and internal equity considerations
- Collaborate with leadership on compensation planning, retention strategies, and market considerations
- Administer employee benefits and serve as a resource for benefits questions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (including FQHC‑specific considerations)
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support audits and reporting as required
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and professional workplace culture
- Support training, engagement, and retention initiatives
- Act as a visible and trusted HR resource for employees across sites
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in healthcare, nonprofit, or multi‑site environments
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations and performance management
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and leadership styles
- Experience in healthcare, FQHC, or nonprofit settings
- HR certification (SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred
- Experience supporting both clinical and non‑clinical staff populations
- Strong judgment, discretion, and problem‑solving skills
