There are immediate openings for Food Service Helpers in the School Nutrition Department for the 2025/26 school year.
Ivan Green - 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM (5.5 Hrs.)
Helendale - 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM (4.5 Hrs.)
DUTIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Serves as cashier on student food service line.
- Set up prep area/serving line/cash register for menu items and ease of service.
- Prepare foods and ingredients properly, efficiently, and courteously.
- Serve food from steam table of food line in cafeteria-style operation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
- Wash and sanitize all pots, pans, and utensils.
- Assist with cleanup of equipment, serving areas, and work areas.
- Count/store/return leftover foods properly following all food safety guidelines.
- Assist Cook Manager or Food Service Director with additional tasks as needed.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Food service experience preferred.
